Online Treating Parkinson’s 2015 Nationwide (Ireland) Survey
Treating Parkinson's 2015 is a nationwide survey which aims to gather information about the way we are treating Parkinson's disease in Ireland. We hope that the anonymous information gathered after completion of this survey will shine a light on the issues people with Parkinson's disease deal with on a daily basis in 2015 in Ireland. Information obtained directly from people affected by Parkinson's disease is particularly powerful when campaigning for more resources to plan services for the future.
The National Clinical Programme for Neurology has launched its draft Model of Care for public consultation
The overall aims of the programme are;
- To improve the quality of care delivered by the clinical programme
- To improve access to services
- To improve value for both people with neurological conditions and the health service.
"LIVING WITH PARKINSON'S" DOCUMENTARY

The program also takes a close look at recent changes in treatment and management of this incurable, progressive disease that will enable many people to live to a normal life expectancy and to do things that might have seemed impossible even a few decades ago.
